Description
Offered is a 1913 Novelty Postcard – Penmaemawr is a Topper. The postcard
shows a Welsh woman wearing a huge top hat. Lift the top hat and out drops a folded
set of 12 BW Welsh photo views of Penmaemawr. Penmaenmawr is a town and
community in Conwy County Borough, Wales, which was formerly in the parish of
Dwygyfylchi and the traditional county of Caernarfonshire. It is on the North
Wales coast between Conwy and Llanfairfechan. The views are 1 ½” x 2 ¾” and
fold open like an accordion. These were folded incorrectly once and a few
images have creases where they should not be. Dated 1913 on the back. Posted.
