Description
Two vintage real photo postcards (RPPC) showing front and back of the famous "Tara Brooch",a pennannular ring-brooch of ancient age found in County Meath, Ireland,
and on display at the National Museum of Ireland.
Back captions reads,
"TARA BROOCH. Bronze, gilt and decorated with gold filigree,
enamel and settings of amber, &c. Width 4 inches. Found at
Found at Betaghstown [Bettystown], Co. Meath. About 730 A.D."
Card published by the National Museum of Ireland; printed in An Saorstat / the Irish Free State (Ireland).
Split back; unused.
