    Description

    You are looking at Fairy Kikaku 1/700 Afrika Korp Convoy #1 resin model kit #093. This kit contains the Regia Marina (Italian Navy) Gerealli Class Destroyer “Antonio Cantore”. The Antonio Cantore was built by Cantieri Navali Odero, Sestri Ponente, launched on 4-23-1921 at 840t with an overall length of 240’. She was capable of 30 knots and had a range of 2000nm at 14 knots. On 8-22-1942 while off the coast of Ras el Tin, Libya she struck a mine and sank. Also included is the “SS Alfredo Oriani” Class-C transport/cargo ship. Built in 1918 she weighed in at 3105t, capable of 11.5 knots with and overall length of 330’. On 9-13-1941 the Alfredo Oriani was sunk by Allied aircraft approximately 180 miles north of Benghazi. This model kit is new in box with minor shelf wear. Models are to be assembled as a "Waterline" configuration. The Antonio Cantore has an over-all length of approximately 3-7/8"; the Alfredo Oriani has an over-all length of approximately 5-7/8" Please note that resin model kits are for experienced and/or advanced model builders – hand finish all parts, may have to scratch build small parts or utilize detail parts from accessory kits/photo etched brass, etc. Winning bidder pays high bid plus .00 shipping and handling via USPS in United States.
