    Description

Vintage white-bordered, standard-sized postcard with spots of color, showing the inside of an Irish cottage.
Such cottages, devoid of most natural light, were difficult subjects for photographers.
Two women, one with a churn and the other with a spinning wheel, have had their pictures taken elsewhere and have been placed inside
the picture here ... note the sunshine on their faces, and the churn base, floating over the floor.
    JV View No. 31156.
White caption reads, "AN IRISH KITCHEN."
A boxed verse, by Eva Brennan, reads,
"Just lift the Latch and have no fear,
An Irish welcome awaits you here."
Published by Valentine & Sons, Ltd., Dundee and London, in the "CARBO COLOUR" Series.
    Split back, unused.
Good condition with some age discoloration at edges. See photos.
    Ships in a plastic holder.
Free postage to all US addresses, and to Ireland and Northern Ireland. (Outside US: wait for an invoice or receive refund via PayPal.)
