Back caption reads, "COURTMACSHERRY, CO. CORK: Pleasantly situated on the
southern shore of Courtmacsherry Bay and with a background of woods, Courtmacsherry
is a favourite seaside resort during the summer months. The village itself is pretty and well cared
for and the surroundings are both attractive and full of historic interest. Among holiday attractions
are bathing, boating, tennis and dancing. Good shooting and angling are also to be had in
the vicinity."
