    Description

    Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6") chrome postcard with a view of the festive
    reception in the Great Hall at Bunratty Castle, County Clare, Ireland,
    as part of the Medieval banquet tour. Performers are in "traditional" costume,
    with tourists assembled for drinks and music.

    Back caption reads,
    "BUNRATTY CASTLE, CO. CLARE: Guests relaxing while attending
    the 'Mediaeval Dinner' in this fully restored fortress, the climax of a 24 hour
    Coach Tour out of nearby Shannon Airport, the dinner is a gay affair,
    where guests eat with fingers and a small dagger, and colleens in period
    costumes sing the traditional melodies of old Ireland. The 'Mediaeval Tour'
    gives visitors a rare insight into Ireland's past, and visits many of Clare's
    places of historic interest."
