    Description

    Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6") postcard with a view of the Hill of Doon,
    which rises above the waters of Lough Corrib in the Connemara country of western Ireland.

    Back caption reads,
    "HILL OF DOON, LOUGH CORRIB, CO. GALWAY:
    Lough Corrib is one of the largest lakes of the West of Ireland,
    and provides possibly the best all-round free fishing in Ireland,
    holding salmon, trout, pike, rudd, perch and eels. With a length of
    27 miles and a variable width (maximum 7 miles), the lake occupies
    an area of 68 square miles. One of the most attractive spots on the lake
    is the wooded Hill of Doon, which overlooks a narrow inlet of the lake."
