Description
Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6") postcard with a view of the Hill of Doon,which rises above the waters of Lough Corrib in the Connemara country of western Ireland.

"HILL OF DOON, LOUGH CORRIB, CO. GALWAY:
Lough Corrib is one of the largest lakes of the West of Ireland,
and provides possibly the best all-round free fishing in Ireland,
holding salmon, trout, pike, rudd, perch and eels. With a length of
27 miles and a variable width (maximum 7 miles), the lake occupies
an area of 68 square miles. One of the most attractive spots on the lake
is the wooded Hill of Doon, which overlooks a narrow inlet of the lake."
