    at Bunratty Castle, on the Clare-Limerick border in western Ireland.
    Tourists dine while being entertained by singers in costume.

    "THE BANQUET AT BUNRATTY, CO. CLARE:
    A Castle stronghold of the Earls of Thomond, originally built in 1277 sets
    the scene for a magnificent torchlit Mediaeval Banquet which has as its theme
    the story of Ireland and its colourful history. Many of the halls contain contemporary
    tapestries, paintings and plate from the 14th-17th century which did or would have
    belonged to the ancestral owners."
