Front caption reads, "'Corkscrew Hill, Co. Clare, Ireland".
Back caption reads, "CORKSCREW HILL, CO. CLARE: One of the most
popular drives in Co. Clare is from Lisdoonvarna by the coast to Ballyvaughan
and around Black Head returning by the Corkscrew Hill through the Burren hills.
The Burren is a 'karst' like area of bare limestone hills covering about 50 square
miles and extending north and north-west from Lisdoonvarna. The thin soil of its
hollows and crevices supports the most remarkable assemblage of diverse types
of flora to be found in Ireland."
