Vintage Contintental-sized (approx. 4x6) postcard with a view of Derrynane House,
the home of Irish politican Daniel O'Connell, in Caherdaniel, Kerry, Ireland.
Front caption reads, "Derrynane House, Caherdaniel, Ring of Kerry, Ireland."
Back caption reads, "DERRYNANE HOUSE, RING OF KERRY:
Near the shore of Derrynane Bay just over a mile from Caherdaniel stands
Derrynane House, the home of Daniel O'Connell, the Liberator (1775-1847).
He lived and worked here during his political life. The House is now open to the public
as the O'Connell Memorial Museum. It has been restored and contains an interesting
collection of the Liberator's personal possessions, and the furnishings which were
in the house when O'Connell lived there."
