Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6") chrome postcard with a view of the Garden of Remembrancein Parnell Square, Dublin, Ireland.

Back caption reads,
"THE GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE, DUBLIN:
Formally opened in 1966 by President de Valera, this garden is dedicated
to the memory of all those who gave their lives for Irish freedom. It consists in the main
of a sunken area in the shape of a cross enclosing a pool similarly shaped. The floor
of the pool has a mosaic pattern of old Celtic Weapons which are shown broken,
symbolic of a Celtic custom of throwing weapons into lakes and rivers on
cessation of hostilities."
