Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6) color postcard with a view
of Wexford's oldest castle, Ferrycarrig, on the River Slaney near Wexford town.
Back caption reads, "FERRYCARRIG CASTLE, FERRYCARRIG, CO. WEXFORD,
IRELAND. Situated two miles from Wexford on a crag overlooking the River Slaney
stands this tower on the site of what was probably the first Anglo-Norman Castle
erected in Ireland. On the opposite side of the river is a tower built to commemorate
the Wexford men lost in the Crimean War."
Card published by NPO Dexter with printing by Litho Canada.
Split back, used, posted 1989 to Celbridge.
Inked note reads,
