Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6) postcard with an overview of the harbour and bay
at Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland.

Front caption reads, "Kinsale, Co. Cork, Ireland."
Back caption reads, "KINSALE: With its houses climbing up the wooded slopes of
Compass Hill, and overlooking the winding estuary of the Bandon River, has an old-world
appearance. The town is mostly of the eighteenth century, with narrow winding streets
and interesting ruins tucked away amidst Georgian houses. Kinsale is now one of Europe's
leading sea angling centres. The traditional Kinsale Cloak, a hooded garment once fashionable
in the area, has left its influence on modern Irish fashion houses. Off the Old Head of Kinsale,
the Lusitania was sunk in May 1915."
