    Description

Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6) chrome postcard showing
the Land's End / Mizen Head lighthouse in West Cork, on the Atlantic edge of Ireland.
Front caption reads, "Mizen Head (Ireland's Land's End) West Cork, Ireland."
    Back caption reads,
"MIZEN HEAD (IRELAND'S LAND'S END): This rugged promontory, crowned
with a magnificent modern lighthouse, is the extreme south-west point of Ireland.
On this account it is known by some as 'Ireland's Land's End'. The coastal scenery
in this area is remarkably fine, especially north-west in the area of Three Castles
Head. There are in addition, numerous beautiful coves of which Barley Cove is
best known. Crookhaven nearby is favoured by yachtsmen on account of its safe harbour."
Card No. 2/218 published by John Hinde, Ltd., Cabinteely.
    Split back; unused.
Good condition but trimmed at the top edge, unevenly. See photos.
    Ships in a plastic holder.
Free postage to all US addresses, and to Ireland and Northern Ireland. (Outside US: wait for an invoice or receive refund via PayPal.)
