Description
Vintage colored postcard with a view of O'Connell Bridge on the River Liffey in central Dublin, Ireland.Red captions read, "O'Connell Bridge and Quays, Dublin" and "Looking down the Liffey towards the Custom House".
Card published in the Valentine series.
Split back; used, mailed from Dublin 14 in August 1910 to Cheshire, England.
Inked note reads,
"Thanks so much for pen - I always use it. I was not ill crossing. My sister
and a friend have been staying with me - They went away last Friday. -
We had a gay time - tennis - theatres - etc. Dublin is crowded this week for
the Horse Show. Love to all your people from both - Vi Doyle".
Good condition with edge wear, creased corner upper left, age discoloration/grime as per age. See photos.
