Description
Glossy chrome Continental-sized (approx. 4x6) postcard with a view from beautiful Powerscourt estateat Enniskerry, County Wicklow, Ireland.
Statuary and pond frame a view of Sugarloaf mountain.

Front caption reads, "POWERSCOURT GARDENS, Co. WICKLOW".
Back caption reads, "The 14,000 acre demesne lies astride the upper course of
the River Dargle. The main drive runs by the river through plantations, rare shubberies
and a deer park with some fine herds of deer. The celebrated Powerscourt Waterfall,
which tumbles obliquely over a cliff 400 feet high, is the highest waterfall in these islands."

I am examing all the diploma exams in Dublin for the next
3 weeks. A lovely city yesterday went to walk amid these lovely gardens
and they are as beautiful as the picture. Drove through pine forests to get
there and saw some magnificent nurses [?]. Loads of super restaurants
in Dublin hoping to to see you both soon."
