    Description

    Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6) postcard with a view of Roundstone Harbour
    in Connemara, Ireland. A red boat waits against the picturesque pier.
    Photo by John Hinde, FRPS.
    Front caption reads, "Roundstone Harbour and the Twelve Bens, Connemara, Co. Galway, Ireland."
    Back caption reads, "CONNEMARA: The 'Western Wonderland', stretches from Galway to the sea;
    rugged mountains heaving upwards out of moorland and bog, and reflected in a thousand quiet lakes
    in a symphony of wild beauty. The region has been made famous through many paintings, but few artists
    have managed the almost impossible task of capturing its strange and elusive colouring. Connemara
    is a favourite hant of anglers, and the 'weighing-in' in the evenings is a solemn ritual in a number
    of hotels."
    Card No. 2/177 published by John Hinde Ltd., Cabinteely.
    Split back; unused.
    Good condition. See photos.
    Ships securely in a protective plastic holder.
