Vintage Contintental-sized (approx. 4x6) postcard with four views of
Sligo, Ireland.
Scenes include:
The bridge on the Garravogue
A thatched cottage beneath Ben Bulben
A long strand of beach (Enniscrone?)
Islands in Lough Gill
Front banner reads, "SLIGO".
Back caption reads,
"COUNTY SLIGO: Within the small area of this county
a wonderful variet of mountain, lake and coastal scenery is to be found.
For the holiday-maker there are the beaches of Strandhill and Enniscrone,
golf at Rosses Point and other centres and numerous places of interest
to visit. In beautiful Lough Gill near Sligo town can be seen the lake isle of
Inishfree, immortalised in Yeats' poem, and other beauty spots include Glencar
and Ben Bulben."
