    Description

Continental-sized (approx. 4x6) chrome postcard showing visitors enjoying the view
of Dublin Bay and the Sorrento coast at Dalkey, Ireland, from atop Killiney Hill.
Front caption reads, "Dublin Bay, Sorrento Point, Dalkey Island, from Killiney Hill,
    Co. Dublin, Ireland."
Back caption reads, "KILLINEY HILL, CO. DUBLIN: South of Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey
is Killiney, delightfully situated on the sea front with a fine beach. The Vico Road between
Dalkey and Killiney gives splendid views of Killiney Bay, which has often been compared
to the Bay of Naples. The wooded Killiney Hill (512 feet), crowning which is a quaint
obelisk, gives incomparable views of the Bay, Bray Head and the Wicklow Mountains."
Card No. 2/186 published by John Hinde, Cabinteely.
Split back; used, mailed from Dun Laoghaire to Cork 1975 with a "Full Address Speeds Delivery" postmark.
    Inked note reads,
    "11/7/75
We got home safely about 4:30 on Sunday. Many thanks for a very pleasant holiday -
more enjoyable every time. We were lucky in the weather. We've had a lot of rain
Since but the gardens are beginning to recover."
