    Description

Vintage deckled-edge 4x6 postcard with a view of St. Kevin's Kitchen (Chapel - Church) at the monastic site of Glendalough, County Wicklow, Ireland.
The site's famous round tower can be seen at right.
Back caption reads, "ST KEVIN'S KITCHEN, GLENDALOUGH, CO. WICKLOW, IRELAND.
Glendalough is famous not only as one of the most picturesque glens in Co. Wicklow,
but also for its wealth of historical and archaeological remains. St. Kevin's Kitchen (or Church)
is a good example of the double-vaulted high pitched stone roof. A chancel and round-tower belfry
were added later but the former has now disappeared. To the right stands the 103 foot high Round Tower,
probably a place of refuge in time of attack."
Published by NPO Fotocolor, with printing by Dexter Canada.
Good condition with some foxing and age discoloration. See photos.
Ships free to all US addresses, and to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
