    Vintage matte monochrome postcard with a view of Trinity College, Dublin,
    with cars and pedestrians circa 1920s.
    Published by CTC Ltd. for the Irish Tourist Association, Eire series "C".
    Split back; used, postmarked Ath na Scaribe (Enniskerry) 1947 with a 1 1/2 pingin stamp attached; mailed to Bristol, UK.
    Inked note reads,
    "Wednesday. I think this must be the final postcard!
    Thank you for the letter received on Tuesday morning - so glad you
    are O.K. We had a card from Bill - he is looking forward to seeing
    us on Saturday! We are still making the most of the last few days!
    Best wishes to Mrs. S. With love from us both, Eoin [or Iain]"
