    Description

    Vintage Continental-sized (approx. 4x6") postcard with a view of Waterford, Ireland, and the lifting bridge over the River Suir
    from the east side of the river.

    Back caption reads, "WATERFORD CITY AND BRIDGE OVER RIVER SUIR:
    The city of Waterford is pleasantly situated on the banks of the River Suir, which
    completes its journey to the sea, sixteen miles further on. This old Danish-Norman city,
    rich in historical associations, is the principal seaport in the south-east of Ireland.
    The dominating feature of the city is the fine line of wide quays extending for nearly
    one mile from the Bridge to the Mall."
