Vintage white-bordered real photo postcard (RPPC) of "Sackville Street" (now O'Connell Street) at the Bridge in Dublin, Ireland.Nelson Pillar is at distant left. The scene pre-dates the Easter Rising of 1916, which destroyed several of the buildings in view.
Front white caption reads, "Sackville Street Dublin".
Published by Lawrence, Dublin.
Split back, used, postmarked Dublin 1911 and mailed to Cambridge, England.
Inked note reads,
"My D. W.
I hope you are much better. Have just been for a drive
outside Dublin. I expect a letter to night. I am quite comfortable
at our digs. I trust Phyllis is alright. Love to you both. A Y O H."
