The LCD of the GA-50 places the string number and note name in the center of the display. This indication is now larger than before, for even better visibility. The needle-type meter shows the pitch quickly and accurately. Operation is simple and smooth, and easily understandable even for the beginner.
You can select either guitar or bass mode. In each mode, the string number is shown beside the note name, letting you tune correctly and confidently. Guitar mode also supports 7-string guitars, and bass mode accommodates Low-B and High-C strings as well. Dropped tunings are also supported, allowing detection in the range from one semitone lower to a maximum of five semitones lower.
With a reference tone sounded by the built-in speaker, sound out mode provides not only a visual but also an audible pitch reference. This is especially convenient when you're replacing the strings, since you can start by tuning roughly while you listen to the reference tone, and then make fine adjustments in meter mode.
The GA-50 is equipped with an output jack. Connect your guitar to the input jack, and connect your amp etc. to the output jack so that you can check your tuning even during a performance.
The Korg GA-50 allows approximately 135 hours of continuous use (when using zinc-carbon batteries). You can use it with confidence even during long hours of practice. When the remaining battery capacity runs low, the display shows an indicator, letting you know that it’s time to replace the batteries.
A new mechanism reduces the possibility that the unit will overturn, making it less likely that the tuner will slide off and fall when placed on a music stand. You’ll be able to concentrate on your playing without fearing that the tuner might fall during the performance.
The memory backup function remembers the calibration and sound out mode settings even when the power is turned off. (Settings are initialized when you replace the batteries.) The auto power off function automatically turns off the power when 20 minutes have passed without sound being input.
The folding stand allows the tuner unit to be more stable on its own. The sliding battery cover is designed as a single piece with the unit itself, so there’s no worry that the cover might be lost when replacing the batteries.

We strive to earn 100% satisfaction with every customer. Because of this we allow returns for up to 30 days with few conditions. If you are not satisfied, contact us for a Return Authorization or use eBay’s Return System. Then simply return your item in original condition. You pay return shipping. Shipping fees are not refundable. If your item featured Free Shipping, we will deduct our shipping costs when refunding your purchase price. If you have questions, please contact us. Items returned in less than original condition may be refused or charged a restocking or damage fee, up at 15%. There is no fee for returns of defective products, and we pay shipping for the return of defective items. A few items are not eligible for return.
State Sales Tax:
Virginia residents must pay 5.3% sales tax on the total order (including shipping/handling). Others may be required to pay sales tax directly to your state or local treasurer. Check your local laws.

USA Shipping:
Most items are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. We may choose other shippers at times. Priority Mail delivery averages 2-3 business days. First Class delivery takes averages 2-5 business days. We always use delivery confirmation services and upload tracking information when your order ships.

International Shipping:
Due to lost packages and other shipping problems, we restrict the list of countries we ship to. When we do ship to International destinations we offer USPS First Class shipping as a lower-cost option, but we strongly recommend the use of package tracking services. USPS First Class International does not provide reliable tracking to the destination. If you choose USPS First Class International shipping, delivery can take several weeks and is not guaranteed by us.
We do not collect or track taxes, tariffs, duties, or other import fees which may be assessed when your order arrives. You are responsible for all taxes, tariffs, duties, and import fees. Please consider these costs before placing your order. By law, we must report the purchase price on customs declarations forms.
