This is a McLean Production & Second Operation Three Axis Lathe that is capable of doing automatic and semi-automatic movements. This machine is American made and McLean is a great company for information about unit.
When placed alongside a CNC lathe, screw machine or molding machine the 850 allows the operator to perform a second operation.
The Model 850 is standard with a Front Slide, Rear Slide, and a Tail Slide. Other slides, including our heavy-duty slides, are also available. McLean slides are air-powered with hydraulically controlled feed.
The machine came from a merging of two Aerospace Facilities and they didn't need four of them. Machine can also be loaded with many programs and setup mode. You can see operations of the machine on the McLean website. The machine is sold as-is and we can load for free. Shipping can also be arranged at buyer's expense.
