    Vintage white-bordered postcard with a view of a picturesque Irish harbour at evening, with fishing boats coming in after the day.
    JV View No. 214711.
    A verse by Eva Brennan reads,
    "An Irish Fishing Village,
    Calm and peaceful in the gloaming
    With wavelets murmuring ceaseless songs,
    And fisher boats a-homing."
    Published in the Carbo Colour series by Valentine, and printed in Great Britain.
    Split back, used but not posted,
    with an inked note that reads,
    "....for about another 2 miles (as far as he went) when we again took the road
    a la hoof. After another 2 miles we hailed another chap who was going
    right to Ballymena - what luck? We'll we soon located Mayhers (Mr. McCulloughs sisters)
    & were made welcome &"
