    a postcard I purchased at the
    Londonderry Cathedral
    in Ireland. One of the treasures at that cathedral is the
    Promise Chalice, a chalice given when the cathedral was commissioned but not funded. Dating from 1613 the chalice was given as a token in promise that the money to build the cathedral would be forthcoming.
    The card is in great condition.
