    Description

    French advertising poster for a 1920 silent film " The adventures of Sherlock Holmes " starring Eille Norwood, a distinguished English stage and film actor.
    Norwood portrayed Holmes in film and on the stage for many years, and received praise from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for his understated performance. Norwood was born as Anthony Edward Brett ( no relation to Jeremy Brett, who later starred as Sherlock Holmes in the Grenada television series in the 1980's ).
    Print size is 16" x 20". Printed on Epson enhanced matte heavy weight paper using Epson Surecolor Ultrachrome HD pigment inks for true color reproduction and multi generation display life.
