This is my favorite of all my Terri patterns! I just love the little sun sit with the ruffled bottom -- and how it coordinates with her beach jacket. You can make the sun suit with out the ruffle as well -- they were produced in a combination of waffle weave cotton and terri cloth back in the 50s. Just have fun -- you can be so creative with fabric and color choices. These pieces are patterned after the vintage Terri Lee clothing items offered by the Terri Lee Company in the 1950s. The clothing made from these patterns will fit both your vintage and reproduction 16" Terri Lee dolls. The pattern was made specifically for the Terri Lee doll and will fit her wonderfully, unlike the 16" doll clothes patterns produced in the 50s for thinner dolls. The pattern comes with all the pieces for the outfits shown and written instructions. The pattern is packaged in a plastic sleeve that helps you keep all the pieces together after you've cut the fabric. It will fit in a small 3 ring binder (not included).
