    Description

You are bidding on a Tuck's post card featuring "The Irish Life".  It has a "Tuck's Picture Puzzle Postcards" logo on the back.  PLEASE NOTE - this card is torn - about a 1 1/2" rip that goes all the way through the layers of the card.  It has been repaired (not by me!) with a piece of book or masking tape.  It is neatly done.  You can feel the rip on the front - and see it up close.
I have lots of postcards for sale now.  The ones I am listing Friday, Aug. 6th and Saturday Aug. 7th are from an album in which ALL the cards were published by Raphael Tuck & Sons' - or Tuck's.  They are not only known for their quality - but for how careful they were to label and name their cards.  I have tried to make these into lots according to the series - but many are singles.  Also - some may be grouped in a similar series - maybe the same name but not the same edition.  Please look at all the photos carefully and zoom in - as this is the description.  When I have taken pictures of multiple cards - I start from the top left and go across as in reading.  I flipped in place to show the backs.  These were in a safe album when I got them - but some of these cards show evidence of other types of storage over the years.  On many - there is a bend to the corners - you can see it in the pictures as a quarter circle about 1/2 inch from the corner - NOT ALL THESE CARDS HAVE THIS - but you can see it in the pictures.  If it has this circle it is a bend and not a crease.  It is usually not as visible from the front but you can feel it.  A few of the cards may have some adhesive stuck to the back.  Many have pencilled prices on the backs.  If the auction is for a single card - I send them in a regular envelope with lightweight cards for support - these have a shipping charge of .00.  Other lots are sent as cheaply as possible.  I am SO happy to combine shipping and will always try to ship the cheapest way.  If you are wanting to win more than one auction - just don't pay.  I will send you an invoice as soon as you let me know you are done.  This is a great opportunity to get these premium cards at a low price.  Good luck!
