Vintage colored postcard with a view of a group of Edwardian ladies atop Blarney Castle
in County Cork, Ireland, readying to kiss the "Blarney Stone".
Front grey caption reads, "Scene at the top of Blarney Castle. Tourist, about to Kiss the stone."
An inked "July 10, '08" is in upper right.
Split back; posted Coleraine 1908 and mailed to Pennsylvania USA.
Inked note reads,
"This is just to show you how "it" is close when you come to Ireland.
That's certainly very tempting to go up the Hudson by boat, and I'd say yes
if only I were a little nearer. Meantime the best of thoughts and good wishes
of the True friend fly to my American friend, whom someday I hope to meet.
Millie."
